The Examination of Sarah Batcheller< no role > on the
Behalfe of Sarah Leveredge< no role > Widdow aged Eighty-
four Years Lodging in the Parish of St. Clemt. Danes
in the County of Middx taken the sixteenth Day of Octr. 1740 Who upon
her Oath saith that the sd. Sarah Leveridge< no role > abt.
twelve Years ago to the Best of her remembrance
as to the Time rented a House in Lambeth Mash in
the Parish of St. Mary at Lambeth in ye. County
of Surry of the yearly Rent of three Pound & paid
to the Poor of the sd. Parish & hath not since she left
the sd. House rented Ten Pounds a Year paid
Parish Taxes lived with any Person as a Yearly
Hired Servant or otherwise gained a Settlement
in any other Place to her Knowledge or beleife &
the sd. Sarah Leveridge< no role > being Poor & Infirm is
not able to provide for herselfe.
