The Exaicon of Jno. Deering< no role > lodging in the Parish
of St. Clemt. Danes in the County of Middx taken the 7th.
Day of July. 1739 Who upon his Oath Saith that he was
bound an Apprentice to & Served Seven Years apprentispp
with one Mr. Witworth in the Parish of St. Beneditt
Vulg Bennetffink London Blacksmith and hath been out of his
time abt. Eighteen Years and further Saith that he
never rented any House or lived with any person as
a yearly hired Servt. or otherwise gained a Settlemts.
in any other place to his knowledge or beleife that he
hath wife & one Child (to wit) Anne< no role > Aged abt. Eight
Weeks & is now sick & poor & not able to maintaine them
