The Examination of Amey Taylor< no role > Widw . Aged about 50
Years Taken the 18th. of May 1739 Who upon her Oath saith
that about Twenty Years ago her late Husband Charles
Taylor
< no role > lived in & Rented a House in the Strand in the
Parish of St. Martin in the Fields in the Liberty of
Westminster of the Yearly Rent of £35 & lived in ye.
same for the space of 12 Years or thereabouts And
this Examint. further saith that her sd. Husband in
his Life time nor she since his Death never Rented
£10 a Year Said Parish Taxes lived with any Person
as a Yearly hired Servt. for the space of one Year or
Otherwise gained a Settlemt. in any other Place to her
Knowledge or beleife & that she is now Poor & Lame
& not able to maintaine herselfe.
