to wit Hester Cook< no role > aged about forty three Years on
her Oath says she never was Married Rented
House or paid Taxes says she lived a hired Yearly
Servant with one Mr. Holland a Taylor in Norfolk
Street Strand in the Parish of Saint Clement
Danes for one Year and an half at the Yearly
Wages of Six Pounds hath quitted her said service
upwards of six Years ago since which time she
hath gained no other Subsequent Settlement
either by Renting House paying Taxes or living
a hired Yearly Servant for one Year


Sworn this 27th day
of June 1779 before

Oath says she never was Married Rented House or
paid Taxes or ever lived a hired Yearly Servant for
one Year says her Father Rented and lived in a
House in New Inn Passage for several Years at the
Yearly Rent of Twelve Pounds hath quitted same
upwards of seventeen Years ago and after quitting
same she never gained any other subsequent Settlemt.
