to wit Sarah Thornton< no role > Aged about Thirty Seven Years on
her Oath says she is the Wife of John Thornton< no role > (who is
now on Board the Security now lying at Jeningham
near Chatham in the County of Kent ) with whom
she Intermarried at the Parish Church of Shoreditch
on Friday in Easter Week last by whom she hath One
Child Named John< no role > Born a Bastard at the House of
Mr. Marrowback in the Green Walk near Christ
Church Surry in May 1775 and further say's that
her said Husband was bound an apprentice by
Indenture bearing Date the Seventh day of April
1760 to his Brother William Thornton< no role > a Taylor in
Holywell Street in the Parish of Saint Clement Danes
and afterwards her said Husband Master removed
into Serle Street Lincoln Inn fields where her
said Husband served the Latter part of his
Apprenticeship Vizt. Six Years in all & at the End of
Six Years his Master William Thornton< no role > delivered
up his said Indentures to her said Husband and
this Examinant Positively Say's that the said Indres
were delivered up some Years before the said
William Thornton< no role > the Master removed out of the
Parish of Saint Clement Danes
