Eliza Shelton< no role > Wife of Mathias Shelton< no role > (now a
Soldier in Coll Parkers Company in the First Regimt. of
Foot Guards) removed from the Parish of St. Bottolph
Bishopgate London by Order dated the 23d. Day of
Novr. 1747 upon Oath saith she intermarried with
the said Mathias Shelton< no role > in theParishChurch of
St. John at Clerkenwell about 19 Years ago
Says her said husband rented one Side of a Shop &
three Rooms up three pair of Stairs with the
use of a back kitchen in the house of Wm. Brind in
the Strand in the Parish of St. Clement Danes in
the County of Middlesex for which Appartment
this Examinants husband paid twenty pounds
a Year & lived therein upwds. of two Years & hath
quitted the sd. Appartment about 17 Years
Says the sd. Wm. Brind< no role > their Landlord was a Hosier
& kept the other Side of the Shop & had other
Lodgers in his house besides this Examinant
& her husband Says there was but one Street
