Samuel Stedman< no role > This name instance is in set 314318. upon Oath saith he
never was married and that he lived a Yearly
Servant with Mrs. Wood at the Yearly Wages of
£10 for one Years & upwds. Says the last time he
came to town with the sd. Mrs. Wood she lodged in the
house of Mrs. Shaw in Arundel Street in the Strand
but this Examinant all the time his Mistress
continued in town which was about three months
Say at the one Bell Inn near the New Church
in the Strand in the Parish of St. Mary Le'
Strand in the Liberty of Westmr. at which Inn
his Houses stood Says he went with his mistress
(when she quitted Mrs. Shaws Lodging) to Littleton
in Middlesex and was discharged from his sd.
Service about three weeks after their arrival
there Says he has not since rented ten Pounds
a Year paid Parish Taxes lived a Yearly Servt.
for one Year or otherwise gained a Settlement
in any other Place to his knowledge or beleif
