Informations of Witnesses taken upon
oath this 15th. Day of October 1787 , at the
Dwelling House of Mr.
known by the Sign of the White Horse at
Hyde Park corner in the Parish of Saint
George Hanover Square in the Liberty of
Westminster . Before Thomas Prickard< no role > Gent ,
His Majesty's Coroner for the City and Liberty
of Westminster , on view of the Body of John
Gardener
< no role > , then and there lying Dead.

Henry Davis< no role > , Watchman at Mrs. Drake's House at
Knightsbridge St. Margaret Westminster , on his Oath
Saith, that last Tuesday night near Eleven o Clock, he
was in the Court Yard of the House on his Duty, the
Deceased Knocked at the Gate with his hands Ki [..]
with his Feet at the Gate also, and then rang the
Bell, saying it was the Duke of Devonshires
House , that his Wife lived there Nurse, and that
he would come inDeponent told him it was not
