they began to he rather afraid and went up to the Warehouse
and called Several times but received no Answer, they then went
to the Old Ware Room, found the Door unlocked with the Keys
in itwhen they went into the Room they found the Deceased
hanging from a Reason, by a Rope round his Neck, and the Dept.
immediately cut him down, and a Surgeon was Meetly sent for
says the Deceased has appeared to Deponent to have been very
different in his manner and behaviour for some time past, to
what he formerly was, being very touchey and not seeming pleased
with what was done, and he has thought that at Intervals his
Intellects were not as they used to beSays he was frequently
much agitated and would tremble and his Eyes seem to be fixed
the Deceased has several times laid his Hand on his side where
he had a Swelling and say he could get no restDeponent
Says he has reason to believe that his Mind has been much
distmbed on account of his eldest Son, whose Conduct had given
him great uneasiness

Frederick Walsh< no role > of the Strand Surgeon on his Oath saith
That yesterday about One o' Clock in the Afternoon he was
called to the Deceaseds' House, and found the Deceased lying on
the Ground in the Old Ware Room, and Mrs. Wilson Supporting him
Deceased appearing to be very black Deponent asked how long

it was supposed he might have hung, they replied they
Supposed it might have been three quarters of an Hour Dept.
was clear nothing could be done, but for the Satisfaction of
the Family he opened a Vein in each Arm but no Blood came
there was a general Extravasation or blackness all over, but
he however admmitted Glisters but to no effect, for he was
past recoveryDeponent found the Deceased had an Abcess
on the left side (which he supposes might contain a [..]
of matter) and that consequently at times he must have been
in very great PainDeponent says that for about three
Months past he has discovered an alteration in the Deceaseds
manner, particularly a Wildness in his Eyes, and frequently
mentioned it to Mrs. Walsh that he thought him an altered
ManDeponent says the Deceased has been an ailing More
for some time, and that his Complaints being not likely to
be removed brought on a low Spiritedness which he could
not get the better of
