Information of Witnesses taken upon
Oath this 9th. day of January 1787 . at the
Dwelling House of Mr. Lewis known
by the Sign of the Barley Mow in Mount
Street in the Parish of Saint George Hanover
Square in the Liberty of Westminster . Before
Thomas Prickard< no role > Gentleman His Majesty's
Coroner for the City and Liberty of Westminster
on View of the Body of Richard Dawes< no role > then
and there lying Dead.

Frances Phillips< no role > Servant Mr. Charles Townsend< no role > the Green Men
in New Bond Street in the Parish of St. George Hanover Square
in the Liberty of Westminster , Victualler, on her Oath saith those
Yesterday Morning near MindEleveno'Clock she went up into the fore
Garrett for a Towell and coming back by the Back Garrett
where the Deceased lay she knocked as his Door and said
Coachman, Coachman why dont you get up are you going to lye
a Redall Day, and he made no Answerat Eleven o'Clock the
same Morning she went up again, and knocked at the Door age
but no Answer, she then looked that a hole that was in the Door
and saw him lying in Bed on his Back with his two Hands on
