Bread his lips appeared to be Swalled and she saw Blood
behind his Head on the Bed and a Knife lying on the side
of the Bedshe then went down and informed her Master
that he was DeadDeponent says the last time she saw
the Deceased Alive was on Saturday Night last a quarter
before Maker in the Top Room and had been there from a
little after Nine at the Might, come in in Liquor, and had a
Pint of Beer, he appeared to be chearful and Merry and would
singDeponent wanted more Liquor but her Mistress would
not let him have itDeceased lodged near hour Months at her
Masters Househer Mistress told the Deced that Might that
she did not like his way of going on and desired he would
provide himself, he said she need not be afraid he would
take care to Pay herSays she called on Sunday to the Deced
but he made her no Answersays he had been accustomed to
lye for a whole Day or a Day and a half in his Room

Charles Towsend< no role > at the Green Month New Bond Street
St. George Hanover Square Victualler on his Oath saith
that the Deceased had lodged in his Hall for five Weeks
before he come into it, and he has been then time Weeks
Says he was he have paid him Eighteen pence a Week, Deponent
has Received but on Eighteen pence, but as he had no porter
occasion for the Room he lot him continue, Says the Deceased
way & timely Poor and Distrassed, and that he in compassed
let him have Victualer occasionallysays the Deceased way
Much given to Liquorwas every Indent & was about 47
Years of Age

Audley Street Apothecary on his Oath Saith that he has very
immately Examined the Body of the Deceased and finds the
incision on the Throat of the Deceased could not have proved
Mortal as from Examination it appears to be morely
superficial, but says thore appears to be marks of violent
round theThornNeck.
