Informations taken this Fifteenth day
of October 1775 at the Parish of St. Clement
Danes within the Liberty of Westmr . in the
County of Midsex upon an Inquisition
touching the Death of Zachary Pickering< no role >
lying Dead in the said Parish Liberty
and County.

Thomas Mills< no role > of Shire Lane in the Parish of
St. Clement Danes within the Liberty of Westmr.
Sheriff's Officer for the County of Middlesex on his
oath saith, That Zaitrary Pickering< no role > the Deced
was on the Seventh day of this Instant October
taken in Execution by this Deponent and
carried to Dept. House in Shire Lane , Says that
the Deced was then low Spirited and spoke
very little, That he appeared to be disorder
in his Mind at times, Says that the Deced
frequently drank Rum, Says that the Deced
eat very little, and on Friday last in the
Morning Deced had Convalsion Fits, in which
he continued Seven or eight [..] Minutes
Says that the Deced continued in a very weak
State, That Dept. hearing the Deced walk
about his Room this Morning about Two o'Clock
Dept. got up and went into Deced's room and
found Deced behind the Door, who talked very
in coherent and looked wild end confused, Says
that he prevailed on the Deced to go to Bed again
and Deced went into his own room which adjourning
to the Deceds, That in about half an hour he heard
something fall down in Deced's Room and on Dept.
going in he Saw the Deced lying upon the Floor
with his Head near a Table and his feet toward
the Bed, being then in strong Convulsions, in
which he continued about a Quarter of an hour
