Westmr. to wit,

To the Constable , Headborough , Tythingman, and other Officer of
the Peace of the Parish of St Margaret in the
City of Westminster
within the saidto receive and convey.
And to all Constables and other Officers within that Part of
Great Britain, called Scotland , whom it may concern to re-
ceive and obey

WHEREAS Margery Mackenzie Wife of
John Mackenzie< no role > a Soldier Abroad was
apprehended in the Parish of St. Margaret We [..]
as a Rogue and Vagabond (videlicet) wandering & begging

and upon Examination of the said Margery Mackenzie< no role >
taken before me upon Oath (which
Examination is hereunto annexed) it doth appear that the last legall
Settlement of the said John Mackenzie< no role > his said Wife
Margery and their two Children (to wit) Isabella Aged< no role >
about Ten years and Jane aged about Eighty years & in
the parish of Kin Drog had in the Shire of Old [..] deen
in that Part of Great Britain called Scotland .
These are therefore to require you the said Constable or other Officer
to Convey the said Margery Mackenzie< no role > and her sd. two
Children Isabella and Jane to Waltham crosse in
[..] the Parish of Cheshunt [..] in Hertford that being the first
peace in the next Precinct thro' which they ought to pass in the
direct Way to the said Parish of Kin Droghold to which
they are to be sent and to deliver [..] them to the Constables or
other Officer of such Peace in such next Precinct, together with this
Pass, and the Duplicate of the Examination of the said Vagrant
taking his Receipt for the same. And the said Vagrant & her said
two Children are to be thence conveyed on in like Manner,
into the next adjoining Shire, Stewartry or Place in that Part of Great
Britain call'd Scotland , and to deliver them to
some Constable or other Officer of the next Parish, District or Place within
the said Shire, Stewartry or Place, taking his Receipt for them And
such Officer last mentioned is hereby required to receive the said Vagrant
& her said two Children and give such Receipt and to
dispose of them according to Law. Given un-
der my Hand and Seal this 16th Day of July
in the Year of our Lord 17 45
