James Westminster in the County of Middlesex Widow
Maketh Oath and Saith That she was present & Saw
John Evans< no role > Humphry Polton< no role > and William Johnson< no role >
(the Respective Prosecutors of three Several Indictments
against the above named John Smith< no role > and James Harvey< no role > )
Duly Execute the General Release, or paper Writing
purporting to be a General Release, hereto Annext
by their Respectively Signing the Same (that is to Say) the
said John Evans< no role > and William Johnson< no role > by writing their
Several & Respective Names over against the first
and third Seal thereto Affix'd; And the sd. Humphry
Polton by making his Mark over against the Second
Seal thereto also Affix'd And at the Same time Each
& every of them Respectively Seald and Deliver'd
the Same, As & for their Several & Respective Acts
and Deeds, And this Deponent further Saith that
she is one of the Subscribing Witnesses to the sd. Release
and that the name Margaret Cheve< no role > is of her own
proper hand Writing, And that she Saw the other
two Subscribing Witnesses also write their Names, &
that the Same are of their Several & Respective proper
hand Writings.
