Westmr. to wit,

To the Constable , Headborough , Tythingman, and other Officer of
the Peace of the Parish of St Margaret in the
City of Westminster

within the saidand to all other Of-
ficers of the Peace whom these may concern to receive and obey.

WHEREAS Margeret Geass (who hath
been lawfully Marry'd to Roger Geass
a Soldier) who she beleives is Dead) was
apprehended in the said Parish of St. Margaret's
as a Rogue and Vagabond (videlicet) wandering and not
giving a good Account of herself

and upon Examination of the said Margaret Geass< no role >
taken before me upon Oath (which
Examination is hereunto annexed) it doth appear that the last legall
Settlement of the said Margaret Geass and
her two Children the lawfull Issue of the said
Roger Geass< no role > (to wit) Joseph< no role > Aged upwards of
16 years and Hannah< no role > aged upwards of 14
years is in the Parish or Peace of Bell fast
in Ireland
These are therefore to require you the said Constable or other Officer
to Convey the said Margeret Geass and her said
two Children
to the Town of Barnett [..] in Hertford that being the first
Town in the next Precinct thro' which they ought to pass in the
direct Way to the said Parish or Place of Bell fast to which
they are to be sent and to deliverto them to the Constables or
other Officer of such Town in such next Precinct, together with this
Pass, and the Duplicate of the Examination of the said Vagrant
taking his Receipt for the same. And the said Vagrant & her sd.
two Children are to be thence conveyed on in like Manner,
until they shall arrive in the County of Chester and you the said
Constable or other Officer last mentioned is hereby required to apply to some
Justice of the Peace in the said County of Chester for a Warrant
to the Master of any Ship or Vessel bound for Ireland that
shall lie in the said County of Chester to take on board the same
the said Vagrant & her sd. 2 Children and convey them
to such Place in Ireland as such Ship or Vessel shall be bound to
or shall arrive atGiven under my Hand and Seal this
31st Day of August in the Year of our Lord 17 45.
