Westmr. To wit.

To the Constable, Headborough , Tythingman, and other Officer
of the Peace of the Parish of St. Margaret in the
City of Westminster
& County of Middlesex
within the saidto receive and convey
And to the Church-Wardens, Chapel-Wardens, or Overseers
of the Poor of the Parish, Place or Precinct of Newark upon
Trent in the County of Nottingham
of either of them to receive and obey

WHEREAS Sarah Andrew (Wife of John
Andrew
< no role > a Soldier at Flanders ) was
apprehended in the said Parish of St. Margaret Westmr
as a Rogue and Vagabond, (videlicet) wandering & begging

and upon Examination of the said Sarah Andrew< no role >
taken before Me upon Oath (which
Examination is hereunto annexed) it doth appear that the last legall
Settlement of the said John Andrew< no role > & Sarah his< no role >
Wife & their three Children (Viz) John Aged near
5 Years, Sarah Aged upwards of 3 Years & Mary
aged upwards of One Year) is at Newark upon
Trent in the County of Nottingham
These are therefore to require you the said Constable or other Officer
to Convey the said Sarah Andrew< no role > & her said three Children
John< no role > Sarah< no role > , & Mary Andrew< no role >
to the Town of Barnett in [..] the County of Hertford that being the first
Town in the next Precinct thro' which they ought to pass in the
direct Way to the said Parish or Place of Newark upon Trent to which
they are to be sent and to deliver them to the Constable or
other Officer of such Parish or Place in such next Precinct, together with this
Pass, and the Duplicate of the Examination of the said Vagrant
taking his Receipt for the same. And the said Vagrant
to be thence conveyed on in like Manner to
the said Parish or Place of Newark there to be delivered to some Church-
Warden, Chapel-Warden, or Overseer of the Poor of the same Parish or
Place to be there provided for according to Law. And you the said Church-
Wardens, Chapel-Wardens, and Overseers of the Poor are hereby required
to receive the said Person s and provide for them as aforesaid. Given un-
der my Hand and Seal this 21st Day of August
in the Year of our Lord 17 45
