Surgeon}


We have Ordered that Each of the Three Surgeons of this Hospital
be permitted to have One Pupil added to their former number of Three
Pupils Each which does not increase the Number of Surgeons Pupils
beyond what it was in the time of Mr. Tanner when there were four
Surgeons And the Reason of this Addition was That upon the Death of
Mr. Tanner The whole Business of Surgery in this Hospital Devolved
upon the other Three Surgeons And We have Ordered that the Apothecary
may have also an Additional Pupill to the two formerly Allowed to his
We having referred it to Mr. Treasurer to Assist the Clerk of this Hospl.
in the Speedy Obtaining all Court Rolls Deeds Writings and Papers in the
Possession of the Executors of Mr Wright our late Clerk and Mr Treasurer
having afterwards acquainted us what Application had been made an
with how little Success to Mr. Wright Executor for the purpose aforesaid
We desired Mr. Treasurer to take and Prosecute such Measures in
relation thereto us he should find necessary since which Mr Wright's
Executor has Delivered to as part of our Writings and promised to
Deliver us the Remainder in a Short time.

Hospll. Marks to be
set on Houses in
London & the Suburbs}


We have Ordered that the Hospitals Marks be set on all the Houses belonging
to the Hospital in London and the Suburbs thereof on which they are
not already fixed.

£2000. South Sea or
India Bonds to be
Purchased}


Mr. Treasurer having Proposed to us to Purchase £2000 South Sea
or East India Bonds with Part of the Cash of this Hospital Dead in
his hands We Resolved That Mr. Treasurer should make such purchase
and that he should be Indempnifyed not only with respect to the
purchasing the said Bonds but also from all Casualties that might
attend the same after such Purchase made And Mr. Treasurer has
accordingly Purchased £2000. East India Bounds.

New Governours


We have Ordered Green Staffs to be sent to the Several Gentlemen
after named as Proper Persons to be Governours of this Hospital Vizt.

Further Allowance
to the Steward recom-
mended


We taking Notice that Mr. Hulton our Steward has behaved himselfe
very diligently for the Year past and that the Trouble of his Office
is increased of late years by the Great Increase of Patients We
Recommend it to this Court That he may have a Gratuity of Ten
Pounds paid by Mr. Trear for the Last Years Service

All which We Submit to the Judgment of this Court
