We have agreed with Richard Little< no role > our present Tennant of two
Houses in Finch Lane to grant him a new Lease thereof for 21.
years from Michas 1729. (when the present Lease will expire)
at the old Yearly rent of £5. Tax free in consideration of a Fine of
£225. whereof £100. was to be paid at Sealing the Contract and has
been paid accordingly and the remainder on delivering the Lease
and he is lay out £100. at the least in substantial repairs.

We have agreed with John Biscoe< no role > our present Tennt . of the
Cock Alehouse in the Old Bailey to grant him a New Lease thereof
from Michaelmas 1729. (when the present Lease will expire)
for 21. Years at the Old Yearly rent of £8. tax free in consideration
of a Fine of £170. One hundred Pounds whereof was to be paid
at Sealing the Contract and has been paid accordingly and
the residue on delivery of the Lease and he is to put the premisses
into good repair at his own charge.

Mr. Ozell our Auditor having at some expence & a considerable
trouble collected the paper Drafts of the ingrossed Accompts of
this Hospital for five and fifty years and an halfe last past
and where the said papers were wanting having transcribed
them out of our Books We considering that the said Drafts
might be of great service to this Hospital in case the said
ingrossed Accounts should by any accident be destroyed have
paid the said Mr Ozell thirty Pounds as a Gratuity for his
expences and trouble in collecting and transcribing the said
accounts.

Stay of Wast at
Hackney

Evan Pugh< no role > our Tennant of the Bowling Green house with
with the Bare at Hackney having dug up a great part of the
Bare and having raised thereout a great Quantity of Gravell
in breach of the Covenants of his Lease We commenced a Suit
against him in the Court of Chancery to Stay the said Evan
Pugh< no role > from committing further wast and from disposing of
the Gravell so raised and having obtained an Injunction
for those purposes which was afterwards dissolved by the
Lord Chancellour We have by the Advice of Councill
appealed to the House of Lords from the Order whereby the
said Injunction was dissolved which appeale is still depending
