Wee haveing Examined into the particulers of the Sevll:
Debes or Sumes of Money herein after perticularly mentioned which have
been many Yeares oweing to this Hospitall are of Opinion the same are
Despevate and that there is not the least probability of recovering any
part thereof and they haveing for many Yeares past been brought in
charge yearly in the Accompts of this Hospitall and thereby Occasion
unecessary Trouble to the Auditors Wee have thought Fitt for the Preventing
thereof for the Time to Come that the same be Remitted and not Entred
hereafter in the Ingrossed Accompts of this Hospitall Vizt:

Comison to Rebuild
at the Hosptl Charge
an Old Farme Standg:
on Clay Tye Farme


Wee have Agreed with Mr. Cunisone our Tenant or Clay Tye
Farme in Essex to Rebuild at the Hospitalls Charge an Old Barne standing
on the premisses which is very much out of Repaire and ready to fall
The whole Charge whereof is Computed at £50: He the sd: Cunison haveing
agreed to Allow us Ten pounds in Money stowards Our charge and to pay
for the Thatching of the said Barne and to be at the charge of the
carriage of all Timber Debles Poricks and other Materialls which shall
be used in building thereof Excepting only water Carriage of such Materialls
as shall be sent from London

Liceme to plan
the Orchard


And Wee have granted Reence to the said Mr: Eanison to
plow up such part of the Orchard at Clay Tye aforsd: as may be Done
between the fruit Frees there Wee being of Oppinion that the said Tress
which at present yield very Little Fruit will be therebymuch
unproved he seweing the same with Peas or Beanes and layeing it Downe
when the Comittee shall think Fitt to Order it.

Wee have Agreed with Mr: Thomas Willis< no role > to grant a
Lease to him or some other sufficient Person to be nominated by him
within a Month of the Demeasnes of our Mannor of Hinton Nether-
Hall in the County of Cambridge as the same are now in Lease to his
Mother Mr Catharine Willis< no role > for the Teome of 21 Years to Comence
from Michas 1711: at which Time the present Lease Expires at the Old
Yearly Rent of Twenty Pounds payable as by that Lease and under the
like Covenants and Agreements is are Contained in that Lease In
Consideration of a Fine of Six Hundred pounds whereof Two hundred
pounds was to be paid in Three Days after this Agreement Two
Hundred pounds more at Michas 1711: and the Remaining Two
hundred pounds at Michas 1712:

Wee have with the Active of the Physicians made some
alterations in the Duet of this Hospitall and for preventing the great
Disorders which have happened amongst the Patients by the bringing
in and Drinking of Strong [..] in this Hospitall on Sundays Wee have
ordered that such patients others and Nurses as shall be Guilty thereof
shall be Discharged from the House also that the Sisters and Nurses who
shall neglect to give Information to the Steward - Of such patients
as they find to be Guilly thereof shall be for the first offence put
of the score and for the second Offence expelled the House
