said Lease to be contained that the said Isaac Fenthem< no role > and John Fell< no role > their
Executors admstrators and assigns shall not digg or get coales in the
Comons within ten yards of any other persons lands Except the lands
belonging to this Hospitall Also another Covenant that they shall sell
and deliver at the pits in the said Towne to the Lease hold tenants of this
Hospitall or their under tenants inhabiting in the said Towne of Tibshelfe
such and so many coales for their severall own uses and burning in
their respective houses and not elswhere at such price as the
President or Treasurer and two Governours of this Hospitall shall appoint
not under 2s. P load And also that they shall not yett any coales at any
more then Fower shafts or working places at one time and shall well
and sufficiently fill up such pits immediately after they are unusefull
Provided they shall have liberty before such shafts shalbe wrought out
to Sinck other pitts take up the bottome coale sett endgate and fully
recover the said worke for so many workmen as they shall think fitt
to worke therein And with such other Covenants and provisoes as the
Governours shall think reasonable and is usuall in other Leases for
securing the rent and fine and preventing the working of any more
then Fower shafts or pitts at one time.

And we have also agreed with Mr. William Corbin< no role > tenant of Severall old
houses in Blackman Streete in Southwarke that he have a Lease of the
same for the terme of Fifty one yeares from Lady day 1697 when the
old Lease expired at the old rent of Twelve pounds P annum and for a
Fine of Two hundred and Twenty pounds to be paid in Six weeks time
from the Thirteenth of August 1696 and be bound to lay out Eight
hundred pounds in new building of substantiall brick houses in the front
and with covenants as in the old Lease are contained.

And it appearing to us that on the last granting of the Lease to James
Harrison
< no role > of the farmes in Toversham and Fulborne in the County of
Cambridge he being a new tenant and not knowing nor having notice of
a quitt rent issuing thereout of Three pounds Eighteene shillings and
eight pence P annum We think fitt that in consideracon of his payment
thereof for The whole tenne of the said Lease and this addiconall terme
and of the sum of One hundred and Ten pounds to be paid on the first of
November next there shalbe a new Lease made of the said farmes unto the
said James Harrison< no role > fortheterme of one and Twenty yeares from Michmas
next which is an addicon of Six yeares to the tenne to come in the said
present Lease at and under the old rent of Thirty pounds and the like
Covenants as in the said Lease in being.
