wherein Ten yeares was to come at Christmas aforesaid and becoming
bound to lay out Two hundred and Fifty pounds at least in new building
with brick and making substantiall improvements on the premisses and with
other Covenants as in the old Lease.

The Court doth also order that a Lease be made to John Walley< no role > of a
Tenement in St. Thomas parish for the terme of one and Twenty yeares
from Christmas 1698 when the present Lease thereof made to Charles
Hallifax
< no role > doth expire at the old rent of 44s. P annum and for a fine of
Ten pounds and with like Covenants as in the former Lease.

Mr. Clarke & Patchicott


Ordered that the matters in difference betweene Thomas Clarke< no role > and
Richard Patchicott< no role > concerning an order of this Court for granting a Lease
of an house in the high Streete Southwarke be referred to the Comittee who have
formerly had the same before them And they are desired to mediate betweene the
parties and by their consents to direct to whom of the two the said granted
Lease shalbe made and the same is ordered to be made accordingly.

The place of Minister of St. Thomas parish Southwarke being void by the
Surrender of Mr. Samuel Bradford< no role > the late Minister thereof made this day
in open Court. Mr. Mathew Mead< no role > and Mr. Ely Stansfield< no role > were severally peticoner
for the same and being both put in nominacon the most of voiced fell upon
the said Mr. Mead To whom this Court granted the said place of Minister
of the said parish with the Salary of Sixty pounds P annum Togeather
with other lawfull perquisits (the Fifteene pounds P annum allowed to
Mr. Bradford for and in lieu of a dwelling house for him excepted) To hold
to the said Mr. Mead during the pleasure of this Court.

And afterwards the said Thomas Clarke< no role > and Richard Patchicott< no role >
came to an agreement that the said granted Lease of the house in the
high Streete Southwarke should be made to the said Thomas Clarke< no role > and the
same was made to him accordingly.
