Parish of Hackney market in the great plan of the Hospitals
No. 41 for £60 and in Exchange to grant Mrs. Hammond
a Lease for 999 years at a pepper corn rent of a Piece of
Land mark'd in the Plan No. 44 and containing [..]
the £60 being the dfifference in Value between the Hospitals
and Mrs Hammonds land the whole expence of this exchange
to be borne equally between the Hospital and Mrs. Hammond

Agreed
To Grant a Lease to Mr. John Alport< no role > of a house &
Garden Ground in the Road leading to Hackney which has
at present holds under a Lease granted to Wm. Hopcraft< no role >
expiring at Christmas 1784 for a term of 51 years form that
time at a clear rent of £24 P Annm. Mr Alport to
expend £300 in Repairs and new Buildings within the
first 3 years of the term

The Clerk laid before the Committee a proposal from Edwd.
King
< no role > Tenant at Will of a farm at Elksley in Cambridgeshire
belonging to this Hospital and the London Work house to take
a Lease of this farm for the term of 21 years from Lady day
next at a Rent of £40 P Annm. Mr. King paying a
quit rent of £51 [..] to which the farm is subject and the
Landtax and all other taxes and to expend £120. at least
in Reparing the Premes within the two first years of the
Term under the inspection and to the satisfaction of the
Hospital Agent and the Lease to contain all usual and
reasonable Covenants.

upon the above Terms Provided the Governors of the
London Workhouse approve thereof and the Clerk is
directed to deliver them a Copy of Mr. Treasurer the
Hospitals Agents estimate of the value of the farm and of
