Farm at Hastingleigh in Rent in Lease to Thomas S [..] in Exchange
for a Lease from Mr Sawbridge to the Hospital for the same terms
and Rent of about the same quantity of Land belonging to Mr
Sawbridge upon Hye down adjoining to part of such farm Mr [..]
ag [..] ng to fence off the Land to be taken by him in exchange and
to keep such fence afterwards in Repair at his men as peace [..]
the Tenant who is to enjoy the land to be taken by the Hospital
in exchange during the remainder of his lease consents to such exchange
and the Clerk in directed to apply to him for such consent

To grant a Lease to Mr. Samuel Sharpe< no role > of three houses
in Fleet Lane in the Old Baily lately occupied by Joseph Imbolton< no role >
for a term of twenty one years from Lady day next at a clear out
of £30. P Annum Mr Sharpe expanding £220 at leastt on
Report within the first four years with the Surveyors apprentice
and paying for the several things left upon the premises by
Mr Imbleton Specified in an Inventory delivered by Mr Sharpe
at the Counting house of the Hospital being allowed thereout the
Land tax Window tax and House tax in Arrear to the commence
ment of his Lease

At the regn at of John Frazer< no role > who was footman to Mr
Bowden the late Treasurer 12 years and upwards and is in his
73d year to grant him an Annuity of £30 P Annum during
his life to commence from Christmas last and to be payable quaterly
he having paid to the Treasurer £115 for the use of the Hospital
in part consideration for such Annuity & the Hospital having by
a Resolution of a General Court hold the 17th. July 1751 determined
to maintain the Sevants of the Officers of the Hospital gaining
a Settlement in St Thomas's Parish at the expence of the Hospital.

Mr President acquainted the Committee that the immediate &
occasion of calling this Committee was a request he had received signed
by a number of Governors of this Hospitals to call a General Court for
the purpose of enquiring into the Proceedings of the last General Court
held for the election of a Physician to this Hospitals that the Minutes
thereof may be either confirmed or rescinded Which request was read
and likewise another request also signed by a number of Governor
signifying their disapprobation of calling such General Court That
in their Opinions it would manifestly lend to injure the Hospitals by
