The Minutes of the last Grand Committee
held the 20th. March last were read & confirmed

Mr Treasurer acquainted the Committee that
pursuant to their Resolution at the last Committee
he had purchas'd £5000 in Three P Cent
Annuity's for the year 1744 at £5 P Cent
Discount

Agreed to remit the Quarters rent due
at Lady day last from George Pollard< no role > as Exceut.
of his late Mother for the House she held of
the Hospital in the Burrough in consideration
of is surrendring the Lease without Trouble
& of its being a Growing Quarter at the time he
quitted the House

Ordered that John Jull< no role > & Edward
Cole
< no role > be employed as Carpenter & Brick layer
in Rebuilding the above House at such Prices
as shall be settled by Mr Steer the Surveyor

Mr Baker one of the Surgeons of this
Hospital recommended Mr Richd. Walton< no role > one of
his Pupils as deserving a Certificate which was
agreed to accordingly

one of his Pupils as deserving a Certificate which
was likewise agreed to

Agreed to lett Merrs: Dawson & Dodson
the Wine Vaults under the Hospital held by
Mr Gafton) from Midsummer next from year to year
at £46 P Ann determinable on 6 months warning to be given on
either side the Tenants to be Restrained from letting
the same or any part thereof to any other Tenant

Gave £20 Guinea to the Poor Box
