Minutes of last Grand Committee
held 2d. instant read and Approved.

The Clerk Reporting that by Mr. Treasurers
direction that he has enquired after the Character
of Mr. Joseph Baxter< no role > who proposes to take the
Lease of the Bell & Ball near Cheap side Conduct in
liew of Mr. Richd. Edwards< no role > and that Mr. Baxter
has a very good Charater It is Ordered that the
Lease of the said house be made to the said Mr.
Baxter

Mr. Woolfpreys attended on behalfe of Mr. Wright
son & Extor of Mr. Tho. Wright< no role > and late Clerk of
of this Hospital and acquainted the Comittee
that Mr. Treasurer had proposed to pay £150
in full of a Bill dd which amounted to £175 &
upwards was reduced by the present Clerk upon
Examination to £164 which sum of £150 Mr.
Wollfryes alledged to be too little and offer'd
several reasons to induce better satisfaction
Whereupon Mr. Treasurer Acquaintee the Comittee
that the Sub Committee had been of oppinon to pay
£150 which was the reason of his proposing that sum

Mr. Trear to Settle & pay
Mr Wrights bills

It is referr'd to Mr. Trear to settfe that matter
as he shall find reasonable

The Clerk informed the Committee that
Mr. Tho. Freeman< no role > who had Agreed for a Lease
of a House in Fleet Lane & paid £100 Fine
is Dead and his Widow is Marryed to one
