that he had mony in his hands more
that the immediate Service of this
House requires and desiring direction
from the Committee how to dispose of
the same.

£3000. Ordered to be laid
out in East India Bonds


This Committee are of Opinion that £3000
be invested in East India Bonds and
Mr. Treasurer is desired to layout the same
accordingly & he is to be indemnifyed
for so doing.

Grand Committee Vends 21. March
1728 .

Minutes of the last Grand Committee of the
18th. instant read and approved.

Mr. Treasurer reported that the he had
waited on the President according to the
desire of the last Committee and that he
had Agreed to have the General Court
Summonded for Wednesday the 26th. instant
in order to choose a Physician of this Hospital
in the room of Dr. Caleb Cotesworth< no role > And
thereupon Mr. Trear has directed Summon's
to be sent out for that purpose

Ordered that the Clerk do write to Mr. Thos.
Major that the Committee export he should
put the House in Harp Row he holds of this
Hospital into good and substantial repair
according to his Covenant and do write a like
Letter to other Tennants who have not
performed their Contrast in that respect

Minutes of last Grand committee held the
21st. instant read and approved

Mr. Pemberton attended the Committee
and acquainted them that Mr. George Scott< no role >
with when there had been a Treaty for
purchase of the Manner of Braborne and
other Estate near Hastingleigh in Kent is dead
and proposed to renew the said Treaty.
