Mr. Jacob Proposed to Surrender the present and
take a new Lease for 21. Years from Michas next &
to repair the House & pay a Fine of £63. which
was agreed to
Mr. Jacob gave a Guinea to the Poors Box
The Clerke reported that he had held a Court
Yesterday for the Manner of Alvethley
in the
Presence of Mr. Emmett And that Mrs. Kezia Hurdman< no role >

was Admitted to a
Customary Estate called Ponds as Heir of her Mother
Mary Crossley< no role >
deceased And that the said Mr. Hurdman
would Attend this Committee to compound and
settle the Fine and the Clerk further informed
this Comittee that the said Mrs. Hurdman was about
to Surrender the said Estate to the use of her said
Husband for his life with other Remainders.
Mr. Hurdman Attended and upon enquiry the
Estate calle'd Ponds appeared to be of the Yearly
Value of £24. out of which is payable £1. P Ann Quitt rent
to this Hospital.
It was Agreed to Accept of £63. as a Fine for the
said Mrs. Hurdmans Admittance and for Admitting
the said Mr. Hurdman when the shall take up the
Estate for his life and the said £63. to be paid
forthwith.
There being some doubt as to what Quitt rent
is due for the said Coppy hold Estate called Ponds
which Pays 20s. P Ann Mr. Hurdman Proposed to
Pay from Michas 1715. without prejudice to either
side in case more or less shall hereafter appeare to
be due which was Agreed to and a receipt is to be
given for the same accordingly
Mr. Hurdman Prayed a Licence to Lease the said
Estate for 21. Years which was Ordered he paying
twenty Shillings in respect thereof.

again Attended and Mr Saunders not proceeding
to treat about the 2. House at St. Sepulchres
lately
burnt & rebuilt & held in Trust for Mr. Hydes Children
on the Present Lease Mr. Thomas proposed to take
a New Lease as before but the Termes he offer'd were
too low and therefore rejected and the Committee
will at next meeting consider what kindness to
shew the Children.
Mr. Aldern again attended for Mrs. Eliz: Ewen< no role >
and
offered 150. Guineas but his proposal being much
too low was rejected.
