said Estate was brought up to Michas 1724. And the said
Mr. Gilbert Agreed that if anything was due to the said
Mr Wright for Law Charges relating to this Affair (not
included in the said Accot.) he would Discharge them.

Upon Mr. Treasurers Acquainting this Comittee what
Application had been made and with how little Success
to Mr. Wright's Executor to Obtain the Court Rolls Deeds Writings
and Papers in his hands belonging to the Hospital
Mr Trear was desired to take and prosecute such Measures
for the Speedy obtaining thereof as he shall find necessary

Grant to John Jefferyes< no role >


Mr. George Barnadiston< no role > having on the behalfe of
Mr. John Jefferyes Proposed at a Committee of the 27th. of
October last to take a Lease of our House in the Old Baily
now in his Possession for 21. Years from the Expiration of
a Lease thereof to Rachell Newnham< no role > which Expires at
Midsumer next and to pay £10. P Ann Tax Free and
£100. Fine to be paid down And this Comittee being
informed by Mr Trear That the said Mr. Jefferies
desired time to Pay the said Fine of £100. till Christmas
next In regard Mr Barnardiston to whom the said
Jefferyes had given the said £100. to be paid to the
Hospital had misapplyed the same. Ordered that
upon Mr. Jefferyes Signing the Contract for the said
Lease (which is taken to be a Beneficial Contract to
the Hospital) his Bond for Payment of the sd. £100. at
Christmas next be Accepted instead of paying the sd.
£100. down.

Mr. Saml. Parkes< no role > our Tennant of Two Houses in
Pater noster Rowe whereof One is in his own Possession
and the other in Possession of Mr. Wilcocks Peruke
maker Proposed to take a Lease of both those Houses
at the Old Rent of £70. P Ann for 15. or 21. Years to
Commence from his former Lease which expired at
Midsumer last The Hospital putting the Premisses
into good repair But he not being fully Prepared to
give an Accot. of the Charge of Repairs or what Propose
to make If he took the Repairs upon himselfe
Ordered that he have Notice to Attend the next
Comittee and do then Name the certain sum which he
will Accept to put the premisses into good Repair And
that in the mean time Proper Workmen do view the
Premisses on the Hospitals part and see what Repairs
are necessary and what such Repairs will cost.

The said Mr. Wilcocks Proposed to take a Lease of One of
the said Two Houses which is in his own Possession of
£24. P Ann being the same Yearly Rent as he Pays to
Mr Parkes The Hospital putting it into Repaire [..]
