Minutes of last grand Comittee Read & Approved
Mr. Trear Reported, that Mr. Rayanin Tarrant< no role >
by his Lease dated in June 1694: Covenanted
to Build Two New Brick Houses, [..] with Cellar [..]
[..] of Oake, within 7: yeares, in the Roome of
severall Old Tenemts. lyeing at the End of the
New Way in St. Thomas's next Maze , But
that he hath not yet done any Thing therein
and the Houses are very Ruimons & ready to Fall
whereupon tis Ordered, That Notice be sent to
Mr. Tarrant, That unlesse he forthwith performs
his sd Covenant he will be prosecuted at Law

Ordered that Mr. Garrett be Accquainted, That
unless some beneficiall proposall be made to
this Comittee touching the Addiconall Terme he desires
to his present Lease, It is the Opinion of this
Comittee, that the present Lease shall weare out
& not be Renewed.

Doctor: Peachy Tennt . of One of the Houses in
Bow Lane lately Devised to this Hospll: by Mr.
Parsons deck; produced Articles of Agreement
dated Novemb: last between him & Mr: Parsons
By which he was to have a Lease for Eleven Years
from Xmas last, at a pe [..] Corne for the First
yeare & Quarter, & Fairty pounds P Ann: for
Remainder of the Terme To have an Addicon
of Ten yeares, if desired 6 months before end
of the 11: years Dr. Peachy was to lay out
£30: in Repairs & pay the Taxes to the yeare & Quarter The Doctor says he
has laid out above £50. and a Gutter & some
other Things yet want to be Repaired for the
better Supporting of the House Etc. and pray
the Comittee would order the same to be done
