the Said house & not under that Sum.
Upon Serious debate whereof it was agreed
not to give So much it being the Opinion
of this Committee yt. the said Proposall of
£600 is very unreasonable & much more
then the Value of the Said house.

Steeple


Ordered yt the Steeple of the intended Church
be carried up as high as the outer wall
to ye Streete which will be a fence to the
ground of the said Church

Ordered that the uppermost Ward called
Judiths Ward of the 3 Womens Ward in
the lower Court of this house be made a
convenient Ward for persons after they have
bincutt of the Stone and that a Sweetting
roome & a roome with other convenience over that for pformance.
of ye operacon of cutting of the Stone be built
at the Eastend of the Said Court with Such
dimencons Seautlings & other necessaries as
the Sub Committee & Shall direct & order

Ordered that Christopher Philips< no role > have a Lease
made to him of a tenemt. & piece of Ground
in Kent Streete in Southwarke for the terme
of 21 years from Christmas last at the Old
rent of £5 & for a fine of 100 Marks & with such
Covenants as are Consumed in the old Lease a
To which Agreemt. the said Christopher Philips< no role >
wife put one Shillings into ye poores box

It is the opinion of this Committee yt by the
order in the printed orders the Matron has wright
to give leave to any Sister or Nurse to logeds out
of this house without Wave from the Side etc taken
