Ordered that the bell taken downe on part
of the old Church wall be hung up at the South East
corner of the buildings
in the church yard for the
convenience of the parish of St. Thomas untill the
Staple be built.
Whereas there is a peice of ground containing 8 Feet one
way & 4 feare anotherway lyingbe thebe hind the
Wall of the old Wards in the tenure of Jno: Cockaine< no role >
as under tenant to Edward Leggatt< no role >
which we Shall
want to carry on the building of the new Wards in a Range
It is therefore ordered that in consideration of their
parting with the Same peace of ground this Hospitall
will make them a convenient house of office & make
good any prejudice that shall happen by reason
