As you have parted with the Hospital Farm at Parndon to Mr
R Gurwood, it is necessary that the Rent due from you at the
Time of your resigning it (which I undesit and was as Michs last)
should be immediately paid, as the Indulgence of holding half a
Year sent in hand,for which there is no Covenant in the lease
is only allowed to the Tenant en possesson, & not to a Tenant who
has transferred his Interest to another. I thoughtA likely that
out of the Valuation of the stareding my Crops Stock Etc you might
have agreed that Mr Gurwood should retain the Arrevent if the
Rent, but upon Enquiry I do not find that it is so.This being
the Case, I am discated by the Treasurer to apply to you for
the Payment of a year Rent, being £150. due as Michmas
last for your late farmer as Parrdon.I am Etc I.A

Mr Wainwright has just handed to me to note Claimery in
Addition to the Purchase Money for the land bought of Pidsy at
Parndon, ten pounds forfortmer, & Interest from Michs day
till the day of Payment.There is no Mention of fixtures
in the Agreemt nor of Allowance of Interest & therefore the Con-
-firmation or Rejection of the Claim rents upon your Evidence.
The Treasurer being in the With of England, Mr Wainwright
advised me to write to you & if fixtures have been taken at
the above Valueteen then to pay £280 to Mr Jessopps Anot
& with draw the deeds,for there is no provision for Interest
in the Agreement.I am Etc. I.B.

Yours of the 27th Inst, I have duly received inclosing a
draft for £75.which will be placed to credit, & for which
I inclose your a Receipt for half a year rent of your fann
due at Ladyday last.

The Account of Timber annexed to your Letter I have
examined and find it right, save a small error in the Buch
Timber which I call £36.19.4 instead of £37..1..-& which
makes the Amount of the Fall [..] Nil you mean soon to semt.
for £98..1..5. The Oak Timber O note is to be paid for
at Xmas: if you can continue to sumer for it before the 31 Decr.
it will regularly came into our Accounts of this Year to which
