Sir
In answer to your favour desiring a Valuation of the
Houses on Snow Hill belonging to St. Thomas's Hospital, for
the Purpose of laying the same before she Committee for carrying
into Execution the Act of Parliament therein Mentioned, I
honble you herewith to acquaint you, that at a Committee
of Governors of the Hospital held this day, the Surveyer of the
Hosptial made his Report of her Valuation, & in Consequence thereof
the Committee desire unto acquaint you that the Prece they
ash for the above Houses is 5000 Guineas, exclusive of two per-
-fectual annual Charges of £1.18.4 Payable to St. Barthelomew
Hospital of 7s/8d Payable to Humphery Mitchells Alrm houses
to which the above Premesis an subject & also exclusive of
the now outs [..] ing Leases; only at 4 which annual Charges
& Leases the above Premises are valued & of Course the City well
have to treat even the Preprectors of those annual Charges &
leases.The Surveyor decres me to [..] that the Houses
to be sold are Nos. 42, 43, 44, 45 an S [..] ll & No. 11 in the
Old Bailey & that [..] Tavern in the Court behind.

I ever favoured in Course with you Letter of the 15 Inst.
annexery the Account of the Pe [..] rents & for the Year ending at
Michaelmas last & enclosing a New House for (the balance) £132..16..7
which at Maturity will be placed to your credit.

The Account has been laid before the Treasurer who does not
appeare of the Mode of recover firms in [..] Lives in leases,
& unless some special Reason or Usage is stated for ensuing the
Grants to the Widows Stevens & Wheeler he could will the Grants
night be quarted & the Fines repaid them. The Confirmation of
the Lease of Pewsey Mill (what still remains consealed) was agreed
to as Shatter that had been previously settled by the late Treasurer
Mr Jeffrees; but the Treasurer concluded that before any Agreements
of this Nature were defenitively settled you would of Course Counsell
& [..] much with been open the Subjects. He stand in No of
much Information respecting the Pewsey Estate, & bid me ask if
business does not sometimes being you up to London: A few
Its unconversation with you about this Estate envald them
