Sr.
Tis' with no small surprize that
Mr Treasurer has heard of your very Injurious proceeding
in digging large Quantitys of Gravel out of the Hospl.
Ground & applying it to your own use & that without
the least shadow of right and it aggravates the Injury to
reflect on its being done by a Gentleman from whom the
Hospital might rather hope for acts of kindness

I am to acquaint you Sr. that tis expected you immediately
desist and also that you make ample satisfaction for the
Damage already done before the Affair is brought on the
Tapis at the next Grand Commee which I woud be glad for
your own sake to prevent & is only to be done by your Compliance
with the above method

Mr. Sankey writes that he shall have Occasion
for some Timber for Repairs this year. Mrs Treasurer desires you will
see what Repairs are necessary to be done, & let him know what
Timber will be wanted that He may give you further Orders

For Mr. Sankey at Hastingleigh to be left at the Mermaid Counterbury
