Mr: Sankey
Mr: Treasurer reced yors: of the 31st. of Octor: last; & by
the underwritten you will perceive what Orders Mr: Nock has concerning
you, which you will convey to him by the first Opportunity. I am Etc a
Forelln: Sankey at Hastingleigh to be left at the Mermaid in Canterbury J:W:

Mr: Nock
Mr: Treasurer has reced Notice from Mr: Sankey that
he intends to fell, this year, Lynn Wood , containg about 3 Acres; & that he
wants some Timber for Repaire you are therefore desired to mark
such Storers Etc. a as is customary in order to preserve the growing Timber
Trees And likewise to assign Mr: Sankey what Timber his necessary
Repairs require. J:W:

Novr: 18th: 1746

Sr:
By yors. of the 4th: inst: you intimate that you had reced a year's
Rent of the Tents. And by yr. Letter of the 15 inst. you write that you
had return'd me the year's Rent all but 4 shillings; but as I found no
Bill for Money in yor. Lettr: I apprehend you have sent it by some
other Conveyance, & desire to know by whom.

I reced yors. with a Bill for £82..1..3 being for the half year's
Rent due at Michs last. I am sorry yor. Indisposition renders you
incapable of any longer serving the Hospl. I laid before the Grand
Commee yor. request of Mr: Heywood's succeeding yor & his Letter,
they are willing he should make a Tryal under yor. directions
and if he & they find he can do it as ought to be done, will
appoint him their Receiver They will always expect the Money
to be collected & remitted to them at the same times you have
done it. I am Etc
