Mr: Barringer
The Rent of the Eltisley Estate is so greatly in arrear,
and the Gentleman have been so often amused wth. Promisses of its being
paid off, that They are ready to Charge you with Neglect, & seem determin'd
to send as proper Person down very soon in order to secure the Money
due to the Poor of the two Houses. They expect yor. speedy Answer, & I am

Mr: Hayes has wrote to Mr. Treasr: that his Dovehouse
is not yet begun, & that if it be not built within a month or 5 weeks, the
Season will be over for drying, the Frost come on, & the Clay moulder
to pieces Mr. Treasr: therefore begs the Favour that you will
please to set Workmen about building if forthwith, & so as not to
exceed the Sum of £50..- pursuant to the Direction of the Grand Comee

yors. of the 21st. Sepr. was laid before Mr. Treasurer,
who has order'd me to acquaint you that he expects you to pay a year's
Rent very soonyou will shew Mr. Knock the following Direction

fall Hearst Wood between this & ChrmasMr. Treasurer desires
you will take care of the Timber, & mark all Storers, Wavers Etc. a as are
