St. Thomas's Hospital 4th. August 1741 .

Sr.
The Governors of this Hospital
have appointed to hold a Court for the Mannor of
Helion's Bumpstead on Tuesday the 25th: instant at
10 in the Morning and in order thereto I have sent you
the Inclosed Warrant and desire you will take care
that Notice may be given in the usual manner. As I
doubt not but you are acquainted wth. the Tenants, you
will see that they attend according to the Summons,

I find the Court is to be held at the Manner House
and that you are to provide for the Reception of the
Gentlemen. You will be pleasd to give me a Line signi-
-fying your Receipt of this Letter and if you have
any thing to acquaint me withall material for our
present purpose I desire you will not fail to do it
