Mr. Gourley
I Wrote you the 13th Sept. last that Mr. Necks Swaine
of Haistingleigh had sent Notice of his intention
to fell some underwood & desired your answer
to my Letter, but have not yet reced any

Mr. Sankey has sent Notice that he designs
to fell two Acres & a half of underwood of
Kings mill down Wood: I therefore hereby
desire you to take care of the Timber growing
and Mark all such, Storers Wavers Saplings
or Tillers as are proper to be left; & let me
have an Answer to my Letters, what you
shall have done in pursuance of these directions
& Let me know by the first opportunity whether
you have reced my letter in relations to Mr.
Swaine

Your account has been examin'd & by that the
balance appears to be one pound thirteen Shillings
& 1d, which I hope you will take care to send as you,
promise. The nine pounds thirteen Shills for
Timber & bark is brought to Account

If the five Acres of Wood you mention, be fit to
fell, I desire you would act in that Affair as if
it was for yourself. If there be any Timber tree
that are Stag headed or will be no better for Standing
let them be fell'd, Signd by Mr. Trear
