St. Thomas' Hospl . 26th March 1735

Mr. Holder
Farmer Hayes has attended the Grand Comee and
propos'd to take Combert on farm for your time, so that he may
be secur'd against the Arrear due from you. The Goverrs. think
you would have done were to have come up with Mr. Hayes
for you could not imagine any thing can be done till its
seen how the Arrear is to be satisfied.

You are now desir'd to let me know forthwith what
money is ready, & how the residue is to be secur'd, & then you
shall have notice when to come to town to have all matters
settled: Your can't but think the Gent have been very
kind in so long waiting for the performance of your
frequent promises but you must not expect they will
he easy any longer without some fruit from them

I shall expect a speedy answer & am

To Mr. Wm. Holder< no role >
at Comberton
