AT the GeneralSession of the Peace
of our Lord the King, holden in and for the
County of Midlesex , at the Session-House for the said
County,( by adjournment ) on Thursday
the Fifteenth Day of February
in the Thirty eighth Year of the Reign of our
Sovereign Lord George the Third, King of Great
Britain, Etc.

WHEREAS the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of Saint Anne
in the County of Middlesex
have at this Present Session, exhibited their Petition and Appeal setting forth That by virtue of
a pass Warrant or Order under the Hands and Seals of John Staples< no role > and
George Story< no role > Esquires two of His Majestys Justices of the peace in and for the County of
Middlesex aforesaid /one whereof being of he quorum) bearing date the twenty third
day of January in the year of our Lord one Thousand seven hundred and Ninety
eight John Bird< no role > was removed and conveyed from and out of the Parish of saint
George Middlesex to the said Parish of Saint Anne Middlesex by the
description of Saint Anne Limehouse , as the place of the last legal
settlement of the said John Birds whereby the Petitioners conceived themselves
aggrieved

WHEREUPON at the request of the said Patitioners, IT IS ORDERED, That the
benefit of their said Appeal shoudl be saved unto them, and the hearing and determing
thereof be and the sid is hereby adjourned untill the next General Quarter Session
of the Peace to be holden for this County; and on notice hereof in the mean time to be given
into the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the said Parish of Saint George
they and all Persons concerned do attend the Court at the Session-House
aforesaid, on Thursday the Nineteenth Day of April next, at the House of
Nine in the Forenoon of the same Day, to hear and abide the Judgment and determination
of the said Court touching the said Appeal.
