To the Worshipful his Majesty's Justices of the
Peace for the County of Middlesex at their
General Quarter Session of the Peace assembled

The Humble Petitioin and Appeal of the
Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of
Saint Botolph Aldgate in the City of London

Sheweth


That by virtue of a Pass Warrant or Order of Removal
under the Hands and Seals of Joseph Merceron< no role > Esquire
and Daniel Williams< no role > Esquire two of his Majesty's Justices
[..] assigned to keep the Peace in and for the County
of Middlesex (one whereof of the Quorum) bearing date
th third day of January one thousand seven hundred
and Ninety Eight William Wood< no role > Mary his Wife and
their three lawful Children namely Eleanor< no role > aged
Seven Years or thereabouts who in the said Pass Warrant
or Order of Removal is stated to have gained no legal
Settlement in her own right Sarah aged five Years or
thereabouts were removed and conveyed from and
out of the parish of Saint Matthew Bethnal Green in
the County of Middlesex to the said Parish of Saint
Botolph Aldgate in the City of London as the Place
of the last legal Settlement of the said William
Wood
< no role > Mary< no role > his wife and their said three Children
namely Eleanor< no role > Sarah< no role > and Mary< no role >

Your Petitioners conceiving themselves
aggrieved by the said Pass Warrants order
of Removal of the said Two Justices Do
therefore humbly appeal to this Court
against the same praying such Relief
in the Premises as the this Court shall Seven
meet

And Your Petitioners shall ever
Pray Etc
