That your Petitioner was on or about the third day of November
last convicted in the Penalty of Five Pounds by
Henry James Pye< no role >
Esquire
one of the Justices of the Peace for the said County upon
an Information exhibited and prosecuted by
James Stallwood< no role >
charging that your Petitioner did in Panton Street
in the said County on the fourth
day of October last take and receive of
John Adams< no role >
on redeeming the Pledge therein after mentioned the Sum of
Six Pence by was of
PledgeProfit upon thirteen
Shillingson the thirtieth day of August last past
lent upon a Pledge of a pair of Silver Buckles to
the said
John Adams< no role >
Contrary to the Stature &c.
That your Petitioner conceives himself aggrieved by such
Conviction and is advised to appeal against the same.
Your Petitioner therefore humbly prays your Worships
will be pleased to permit him to enter his appeal so that the
same may be heard at this present General
Sessions of the Peace in and for the said County And that
your Worships will appoint a day for hearing and
determining the same
And your Petitioner shall ever pray &c
