To the Worshipful His Majestys Justices of the Peace for the County of
Middlesex in their General Quarter Session of the Peace assembled.

The humble Petition and appeal of the Churchwardens
and Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of Saint Martin
in the Fields in the said County of Middlesex .

Sheweth,


That by virtue of an Order or Pass Warrant under the Hands and
seals of the Reverend Henry Reynett< no role > and Rice Davies< no role > Esquire Two of
His Majesty's Justices of the Peace acting in and for the County of
Middlesex bearing date the 13th. day of December 1797. John
Greenhow
< no role > Sarah< no role > his Wife and their Four Children Mary< no role > aged
about 11 Years Elizabeth< no role > aged about 10 Years Hannah< no role > aged
about 3 years and Charlotte< no role > aged about One Year were removed and
conveyed from and out of the Parish of Saint Mary Whitechapel
in the County of Middlesex to the said Parish of Saint Martin in
the fields as the place of their last legal settlement whereby
your Petitioners conceive themselves to be aggrieved.

Your Petitioners therefore humbly appeal to this
Court against the adjudication of the said Two
Justices and their said Order and pray that your Worships
will be pleased to appoint a Day to hear and
determine the said appeal.
