To the Worshipful His Majesty's Justices of the Peace for the County of Middlesex
in General Quarter Session of the Peace for the said County of Assembled

The Humble Petition and Appeal of the Churchwardens and
Overseers of the Poor of the Poor of the Parish of Saint Martin in the Fields
within the Liberty of Westminster in the County of Middlesex

Sheweth


That by Virtue of an Order or Pass Warrant under the Hands
and Seals of the John Scott< no role > and Philip New< no role > Esquires Two of His Majesty's
Justices of the Peace in and for the County of Middlesex (One Whereof
being of the Quorum) bearing date the 29th day of December 1796
Thomas Morgan< no role > and Catherine< no role > his Wife and his Two
Children Namely Thomas< no role > Aged Five Years and Elizabeth< no role > Aged
One Month were removed and Conveyed from and out of the Parish
of Saint Pancras in the County of Middlesex to the said Parish
of Saint Martin in the Fields as the place of their last legal
Settlement whereby your Petitioners conceive themselves to be
Aggrieved

Your Petitioners therefore humbly Appeal to this
Court against the Adjudication of the said Two Justices
and their said Order and pray that their Appeal
may be saved unto them and that your Worships
will be pleased to Appoint a day to hear and determine
the said Appeal

And Your Petitioners will ever pray etc
