To the Worshipful his Majestys Justices
of the Peace in and for the County of Middlesex at their
Genl. Session of the peace Assembled

The Humble Petition and Appeal of the Church
Wardens and Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of St.
George Hamover Square in the County of Middx

Sheweth


That by Virtue of an Order or Warrant of Removal under
the Hands and Seals of W Bleamire and W Kinnard Esqr
Two of His Majestys Justices of the Peace in and for the County of
Middlesex (one whereof being of the Quorum)bearing date the
Twenty Second day of November one thousand Seven Hundred
and Ninety Six Hannah Pitt< no role > aged about Twenty three years
Single Woman was removed and Conveyed from the Liberty of the
Rolls in the County of Middlesex aforesaid to the said Parish of
St. George Hanover Square as the place of the last legal Settlement
of the said Hannah Pitt< no role > by which order of Removal the said
Petitioners think themselves aggrieved and Appeal to this Court
against the said Order or Warrant of Removal

Your Petitioners therefore pray that your Worships
will be pleased to receive this Appeal and as the said
Hannah Pitt< no role > was only a few days since brought to bed
and therefore at present too weak to attend to be
examined by the Court your Petitioners humbly pray
that your Worships will be pleased to hear and determine
the Matters touching this appeal at such time as you will
please to Order and direct and give your Petitioner such
relief in the Premises us to your Worships shall seem Just
and meet

And Your Petitioners shall ever pray Etc
