To the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of
the Parish of St. John of Wapping , in the County
of Middlesex ; and to the Churchwardens and
Overseers of the Poor of the Parish Saint Botolph
without Aldgate in the said County of
Middlesex

WHEREAS Complaint hath been made unto us, two of
His Majesty's Justices of the Peace acting in and for
the said County of Middlesex ,( one whereof being of the
Quorum,) by the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor
of the said Parish of St. John of Wapping , that Christopher
Burn< no role > and John Burn< no role > who are both aged
about three Years

lately intruded and came into the said Parish of St. John of
Wapping , and are likely tobecome Chargeable to the same;
We the said Justices, upon Examination of the Premises
upon Oath,and other Circumstances, do adjudge the same
to be true; and do also adjudge, that the last legal Set-
tlement of the said Christopher Burn< no role > and John
Burn< no role >
is in the said Parish of Saint Botolph without Aldgate in the
said County of Middlesex .

We do therefore require you, the said Churchwardens
and Overseers of the Poor of the said Parish of St.
John of Wapping , or some or one of you, to remove and
convey the said Christopher Burn< no role > and John
Burn< no role >
from and our of your said Parish of St. John of Wapping
to the said Parish of Saint Botolph without Aldgate
and the to deliver( together with this our Order, or a true
Copy hereof,) unto the Churchwardens and Overseers of
the Poor of the said Parish of St Botolph without Aldgate
or to some or one of them,who are hereby required to
receive and provide for them according to Law. Given
under our Hands and Seals,the 14th Day of december
in the Year of our Lord One thousand Seven hundred and
ninety Six.
