MIDDLESEX


At the General Quarter Session of the Peace of our
Lord the King, holden in and for the County of Middlesex , at
the Session. House for the said County()
on Monday. in the Week next after the feast of the Epiphany to wit the ninth Day of January in
the Thirty seventh Year of the Reign of our Sovereign
Lord GEORGE the Third, King of Great Britain, Etc. Before
William mainwaring< no role > , William Bleamire< no role > , John Bond< no role >
David Dean< no role >
Esquires , and others their Fellows, Justices of our said Lord the
King, assigned to keep the Peace in the County aforesaid; and
also to hear and determine divers Felonies, Trespasses, and other
Misdemeanours committed in the same County.

Whereas David Lloyd< no role > of Drury Lane in the County of Middlesex Pawnbroker
Hath at this present session Exhibition his Petition and appeal setting forth That he was
on or about the fifth day of January first Convicted in the Penalty of Five Pounds by Aaron
Graham
< no role > Esqr. one of the Justices of the peace for the said County upon an Information Exhibition
and prosecuted by Thomas Chapman< no role > , charging that the petitioner did in Drury Lane in the
said County on the seventeenth day of September last take and receive of Abigail Hill< no role > on
redeeming the Pledge thereinafter mentioned One penny by way of Profit upon Six pence
on the Twelfth day of August last Lent upon a Pledge of a Shawl to the said Abigail Hill
contrary to the Statute Etc: whereby the Petitioner conceived himself aggreived Now
upon hearing the said Appeal and what hath been alledged by the respective parties and
their Counsel in and concerning the Premises It is Ordered that the said
Conviction be and the same is hereby Quashed.
