The humble Petition and Appeal of the
Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the
Parish of Christ Church in the County of Surrey

Sheweth

That by a certain Order date the 8th. day of
November 1794 under the hands and Seals of Paul
Vaillant< no role > and Mr. Heckford Esquire two of
his Majestys her has of the Peace in and for the
County of Middlesex (one where of being of the Quorum)
made on the Complaint of the Churchwardens and
Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of Isleworth
in the said County of Middlesex one William
Ellis< no role > therein named hath been removed from
the said Parish of Isleworth to the said
Parish of Christ Church in the said County
of Surry as his lawful Settlement whereby
your Petitioners and the rest of the Inhabitants
of the said Parish Christ church and much
aggrieved as your Petitioners humbley conceive
the said William Ellis< no role > near obtained
any legal Settlement in the said Parish
of Christ Church

Your Petitioners do therefore
Appeal to your worship against
such Order of Removal and humbly
Pray that they may be heard
