To the Worshipful his Majestys Justices of the
Peace for the County of Middlesex in their
General Quarter Session of the Peace
Assembled

The Humble Petition and Appeal of
the Churchwardens and Overseers of the
Poor of the Parish of Saint Mary le bone in
the said County.

Sheweth


That by Virtue of a Pass Warrant or Order under the Hands
and Seals of B: Kennett doctor in divinity and Willm Jones< no role > Esquires two of his
Majesties Justices of the Peace acting in and for the said County
bearing date the twelfth day of December one thousand Seven Hundred
and ninety four Sarah Townsend< no role > widow of Thomas Townsend< no role > and their
two children viz William< no role > born the 23d May 1789 and Samuel< no role > born
8th. Marhc 1783 were removed and conveyed from and out of the Parish of
Saint James within the Liberty of Westminster in the County of Middlesex
to the said Parish of Saint Mary le bone as the Pace of their last legal
Settlement to hereby Your Petitioners conceive themselves aggrieved

Your Petitioners therefore humbly appeal to his
Court against the adjudication of the said
two Justices and their said Order And Pray
Your Worships will be pleased to appoint a day
in the present Session for the hearing and
Determining of the said Appeal

And your Petitioners will pray Etc
