MIDDLESEX .


AT the General quarter Session of the Peace of our
Lord the King, holden in and for the County of Middlesex , at
the Session House for the Said County (by adjournment)
on Thursday the Eleventh Day of April in
the Thirty thirdYear of the Reign of our Sovereign
Lord GEORGE the Third, King of Great Britain, Etc Before
William Mainwaring< no role > , William Belamire< no role > , Rupert
Clarke
< no role > , John Bond< no role >
Esquires , and others their Fellows, Justices of our Said Lord the
King, assigned to keep the Peace in the County aforesaid; and
also to hear and determine divers Felonies, Trespasses, and other
Misdemeanours committed in the Same County.

Whereas the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of Walthamstow
in the County of Essex Have at this present Session Exhibited their Petition and Appeal
setting forth That by virtue of a Pass Warrant or Order under the Hands and Seals of P Colquhoun
and John Spiller< no role > Esquires two of His Majestys Justices of the Peace in and for the said County of
Middlesex (one whereof being of the Quorum) bearing date the twenty third day of February last
Lydia Hardcourt< no role > Singlewoman was removed and conveyed from and out of the Parish of
Saint Leonard Shoreditch in the said County of Middlesex to the said Parish of Walthamstow
as the place of her last legal settlement whereby the Petitioners conceived themselves aggrieved
Now upon hearing the said appeal and what hath been alledged by the respective Churchwardens
and Overseers of the poor of the said Parishes their Counsel and Witnesses in and concerning
the premises It is at the request of the Churchwardens and Overseers of the poor of the
said Parish of Saint Leonard Shoreditch ) Ordered that the said Pass Warrant or Order of
the said two Justices be and the same is hereby quashed and It is further Ordered that
the Churchwardens and Overseers of the poor of the said Parish of Walthamstow do
forthwith convey and deliver back the said Lydia Hardcourt< no role > (together with Copy of this Order)
unto the Churchwardens and Overseers of the poor of the said Parish of Saint Leonard
Shoreditch (who ever hereby required to receive and provide for the said Lydia Harcourt< no role >
until they can free themselves from the Charge thereof by due course of Law
